Overview

This section contains a variety of information and resources that are designed to make planning, managing and evaluating all types of activities and events as easy as possible. When running activities and events, there are three main stages that should be completed in order to ensure that the activity or event is as streamline and successful as possible. This section of the Community Club Toolkit will focus on the these stages.

Stages

  • Planning – A structured approach to planning before the activity or event so that everyone is clear on the project’s purpose.
  • Managing – An organised approach to managing the activity or event so that it can run smoothly, with as few ‘unexpected issues’ as possible.
  • Evaluating – An evaluation and review plan so that the organising group knows how successful they were and so that the process can be improved next time.
